We would like to bring to your kind notice that we have enclosed a copy of the Honourable Supreme Court Order for SLP No.15814/2011 and wish to highlight the following points:
- We wish to quote the following from the order, where the order of the Supreme Court recognizes the existence of two societies:
“It is unfortunate but true that the two societies stated to be societies for the purposes of Krishna Consciousness…”
- From the order it is very clear that ISKCON-Bangalore Society should manage the day-to-day affairs.
“In the meanwhile, the parties shall maintain status quo, as of today. However, the Bangalore Society with its present office bearers shall continue day-to-day management of the Society…”
- The court also stressed that both parties should explore the possibilities of amicably resolving the issues.
