Daily Bhaskar: Ahmedabad: A complaint of kidnapping has been lodged against the director of a Bellary-based steel company after he failed to send his three children back to their mother, Krishna Bhavna Singnamala.
Krishna's father Jasumatinandan Das is a priest at ISKCON temple on SG Highway and lives in the temple premises. In 2000, Krishna got married to Harekrishna Madhav Singnamala. The couple had three kids from their marriage — Surabhi (12), Om (9) and Vishvambhar (6). A few years back, their relationship went sour. She left him and returned to her father's home with her children in October 2012.
Singnamala then lodged a complaint against her and her brother for kidnapping his kids. Meanwhile, Krishna approached the local court for legal custody of her kids. The court granted her the custody and allowed Singnamala to visit the kids every Sunday between 8 am and 8 pm. According to her statement to Vastrapur police, Krishna claimed that her husband obeyed the rule during his visit on January 6 and 13. On January 20, he picked up the kids at 8:30am. Krishna sent one Nirav Panchal, a devotee, with them.
At 10:45am, Panchal came and informed Krishna that Singnamala had disappeared with the kids after making him unconscious. A non-cognizable complaint has been registered in the case.
