The Times Of India: Youngest among the
Rajumarkars, Puneet Rajkumar showed his generous streak at the launch of
ISKCON's Akshaya Patra's feed the hunger campaign. He along with MLA
Ashwath Narayan and others flagged off the campaign on February 2. The
campaign was launched at the Government School in Gutthalli.The
foundation believes education and hunger are interlinked and it is
important to feed the children's hunger in order to make their dreams
come true.
Puneet, at the campaign, urged people to be part of the campaign and support the Akshaya Patra scheme which has been feeding over 2 lakh students in the city and over 15 lakh students in over nine states, across the country. The actor, who has been part of various other social causes in the past, wishes to ensure the underprivileged children are free of hunger.
